FOOD & SUPPLIES
The pets are so cute that it can be easy to forget we are a family organization which serves both people AND pets. We happen to believe that pets are family and services can and should provide for both humans and animals. Which is exactly why Beck's Place was founded - so that pet-related barriers to stability could be resolved and both people and pets could be happy and healthy.
We have a robust pet food and supply bank which not only keeps animals fed and healthy but frees up family resources that need to be used to achieve or sustain stability. For pets we also have leashes, collars, coats/sweaters, toys and even specialty pet items depending on donations received.
For humans we have an Other Bank - hygiene, household and clothing items that are often sacrificed when resources are limited.
Meals are provided at our Community Action Project (CAP) held approximately four times per year.
To receive Food and Supply services you must be low-income and living between Snohomish and Index, a client of Esther’s Place (Everett) and/or a current/former foster boarding family.
